One day during skit Masa and I came up with this “theory” that would allow us to fly. Although we do not have the strength or ability to do it now, we hope to be able to in the near future. So basically how it works is Masa would stand on my shoulders. After jumping off, he would proceed to pull me up into the air, hopefully having us both be airborne by then. I would then pull Masa up higher then myself, and then he would pull me higher then himself. Continuing this process would pull ourselves up into space, defying gravity and actually perfecting flying.
Somebody asked “How will you land if you can only go upward?”. Well, it is simple. We would let ourselves fall, and before we hit the ground we would start to pull each other upward preparing ourselves for a soft landing.
Hopefully one day we will have the muscular strength and endurance to pull this off. Until then, I will just keep posting on progress.
I’ve been hooked on this song as of recently. Whenever I listen to it an image of Lion King always pops up in my head… I think of Simba.
Anyways, Diet Week#2
I haven’t really been going to the gym recently, or getting much exercise at all. No more Jodaiko practice because of finals, and no more gym because of finals. I am pretty sure this week I am going to owe Patrick another dollar, even though there were results! I lost 1 pound as of the last time I went and hopefully kept it off since then! A few more days til my first checkpoint… the Eagle Ceremony. I have to be able to fit nicely into my suit saturday, the suit I wore at semi… so hopefully even though I didn’t lose much weight, I got slimmer. I am super stoked for Mammoth/Manzanar this upcoming weekend too! Perhaps around 4 days of snowboarding coming up. Time to crash those boxes and bomb those hills! G-Money is coming Mammoth so you better be ready for it! Pad your mountainy self with all the snow you can find so you don’t get hurt by my G-Force. haha, I feel so lame. Alrighty, I’m done. Almost done with finals… finishing off the last two tomorrow! Wish me luck!
So tonight I busted a late night mission with Grace to 24 to shed some extra poundage and everything was going well until the ride back to her house. We were leaving 24 hour fitness, and as I am leaving I see a police car about to leave the same time as me. I drive out of the Irvine Center Drive Plaza and take a right on Culver, and so does the cop. So I start to get a little scared because police scare me so I drive extra carefully. (I don’t know if anyone else changes how they drive in front of the cops, but I do) I drive pretty slow, about 40 on Culver and the Po-Po drives slower! Just slow enough to stay close to me. I take a right on Warner and so does the police woman and she stops at the stop sign and waits for me to get there! I then go next to her car to stop too, and do not make any eye contact whatsoever, and just wait my few seconds and go. She goes too but I take a right on Paseo, she takes a left. Relief struck me, and oh did it feel so good UNTIL SHE BUSTED A U TURN AND STARTED FOLLOWING ME WITH HER LIGHTS OFF! WTF! So I jet and I lose her. I was scared driving the rest of the night. Man why do the police have to be such big bullies. They probably do that stuff on purpose. Jerks.
I started a diet competition with Patrick today. The deal is, at the end of each week until cultural night we will weight ourselves and see who lost more weight (pounds) each week. Whoever lost more weight wins a dollar, and the one who loses less weight wins shame. But seriously, at the end of this competition we will both be winners, cause we will be BUFF and IN SHAPE. OH YEAH!
I will keep track of how much weight I lose here,
sadly I forgot to weigh myself at the gym today. smh.
